Why I Float

I float to reconnect with myself. As a busy mom and business owner, I find that I’m “on” nearly 24/7. Floating gives me the opportunity to completely unplug (I even put my phone in the basket with my shoes), have time just for me and to just recharge. I can almost feel different parts of my brain communicating with each other in a way that doesn’t happen in the day-to-day whirlwind of life. It’s like a mini-vacation all to myself. I feel myself get excited in the day leading up to the float, and the benefits last for days after. Floating has truly become an integral part of my life.
